Viking Fire
Line is made from
Samson's Tec-12 (Technora Aramid Fiber) with Critical temperature of 450º
F and melting or char point at 900º F, you will never have to worry
about melting this line to your winch drum. The Fire Line in 3/8"
diameter only weighs 4.6 lbs per 100' and it's extremely low stretch
makes this line much safer and easier to use than steel cable.
Options for
this line is a Powder Coated 3/4" Shackle and ten feet of Heavy
Duty 7/16" Polyester Line Protector that slides along the line and
can be placed where needed during winching.
Viking Combo
Line is made from two different material, the
first 25' covering the bottom of the drum is our Red colored heat
resistant Fire Line, the second part is made from Samson's 12-Strand
AmSteel Blue. Options for this line is a Powder Coated
3/4" Shackle and ten feet of Heavy Duty 7/16" Polyester Line
Protector that slides along the line and can be placed where needed
during winching.

Viking
Fairleads
A
standard metal roller fairlead can damage your synthetic winch line.
You should replace the rollers with Viking replacement rollers or a hawse
style fairlead.
Viking
Replacement Delrin Fairlead Rollers - These Viking rollers are
designed to be used with synthetic winch lines, replacing the factory
galvanized rollers. They are made from Delrin offering high strength,
abrasion resistance, and heat resistance, and have a smooth surface to
protect your synthetic winch line. The Viking rollers are 68% lighter than
stock. .97 Kg (34.4 oz / 2.1 lb) vs. stock steel rollers at 2.4Kg (83.2 oz
/ 5.2 lb). Delrin is somewhat similar to lightweight alloys like aluminum.
We call it the alloy of plastics because it has good machining properties
like aluminum, it is dimensionally stable and very tough. The material is
resistant to oils, chemicals, UV light and abrasion. DOES NOT
INCLUDE HOUSING, ROLLERS ONLY

Aluminum Fairlead - The Viking aluminum fairlead's are designed to be
used with synthetic winch lines, replacing the factory steel roller
fairlead's. they are made from aluminum that is anodized for increased
surface hardness, strength and corrosion resistance. the aluminum fairlead
is the traditional replacement of stock roller fairlead's, but differs
from others with the anodizing, wider guide slot and countersunk flat head
stainless steel bolts. they offer high strength, abrasion resistance,heat
resistance, and have a smooth surface to protect your synthetic winch
line. anodizing makes the material harder reducing the friction between
rope and the fairlead, minimizing rope damage from heat and abrasion.

We
want to make sure you get exactly what you need when you
order. You MUST order a Thimble Eye and
hook with your line (Winch Safety Thimble does not use hook).
Choose from the thimble eyes and hooks above. The Winch Safety
Thimble is not available with a hook but you can order the
optional`3/4" shackle. Only submit one winch line per order so
we know what to send you unless the winch lines are the same
setups.
