Grille Inserts

Below are billet grille inserts. We've offered these directions to give you an idea of what's involved in the installation.

Installation Instructions

(1998-2000 Ford Ranger Shown)

Important Notice

Carefully read the instructions before attempting to install this product. The manufacturer is in no way responsible for any damage to the vehicle or personal injury that may occur during the installation or use of this product. CUTTING AND DRILLING REQUIRED.

Tools Required

- Phillips Screw Driver

- Hacksaw

- Drill w/ 5/32” Drill Bit

- Grinder

1. Inspect product and check components with items listed above.

2. Remove grille shell from the vehicle per manufacturer instructions.

3. Cover the top, center, and lower horizontal bars with masking tape to protect the finish.

4. Using a hacksaw or a rotary disc carefully cut out the egg crate sections as close as possible without damaging the horizontal bars or the vertical sides (Figure 1). NOTE: Always wear eye protection & gloves when using power tools.

5. Carefully grind any protruding edges remaining from the egg crate.

6. Mount “L” Brackets onto Billet Grille using the M4 x 15mm Phillips Screws and Lock Nuts provided (Figure 2).

7. Carefully position Billet Grille onto grille shell cavity. Mark through Brackets all drilling locations on the grille shell (Figure 3). NOTE: Make sure Billet Grille is properly aligned before marking the drilling locations.

8. Remove Billet Grille and set aside. Carefully drill a 5/32” hole on the marked locations.

9. Re-position Billet Grille and loosely attach upper and lower Brackets onto grille shell by using M4 x 20mm Phillips

Screws, secure them with Lock Nuts included (Figure 4).

10. Center Billet Grille and tighten all Hardware at the same rate.

11. Once the Billet Grille has been firmly secured, re-attach the grille shell with your new Billet Grille back onto vehicle with original fasteners.
